Although we anticipate some seasonal slowdown this time of year, properties are currently staying on the market for longer periods and experiencing a decrease in sales prices compared to last year. Additionally, higher interest rates for buyers have contributed to the slower pace. However, despite these challenges, this time of year can still present opportunities for both sellers and buyers. For sellers, the reduced competition may result in less inventory, making it an advantageous time to list their properties. On the other hand, buyers may find that the market slowdown allows them to negotiate better deals and many lenders are offering no-cost refi's to adjust their interest rate when the rates come down.
